4 Ways to Fix an Uncomfortably Hot Vaping Device

4. Check the battery

While quite rare in terms of the cause of an overheated vape, it can still be a cause—and a serious one at that. Batteries are generally subject to plenty of heating, reaching temperatures of over 60 Celsius. In the case that none of the other reasons we've shared here is the cause of the overly hot vape, it might just be the battery being the problem! 

If you see that the batteries are bulging or you hear hissing sounds, the only thing you can do is to put it somewhere away from any flammables to leave it to cool.
